RICHARD ROBERT KELLY



Richard Robert Kelley was killed on FSB Airborne. Some documents showed he was with an artillery battalion, others showed he was with "D" Company, 2/501 while others showed he was with "A" Company, 2/501. Another Roster showed a "Richard Kelly" deployed 10 Feb 1969.

Richard's family was awarded the SGA award at our 2022 Reunion.

RICHARD ROBERT KELLEY

SP4 - E4 - Army - Selective Service - 101st Airborne Division - Weymouth, MA. Length of service 0 years. His tour began on Oct 21, 1968. Casualty was on May 13, 1969 in THUA THIEN, SOUTH VIETNAM (FIREBASE AIRBORNE), HOSTILE, GROUND CASUALTY, OTHER CAUSES. Body was recovered. Panel 25W - Line 102 More about Airborne here.

Richard Robert Kelly was the recipient of our 2022 SGA Award. It was presented to his sister Nancy and her husband Arlyle Weisheim. Thank you Nancy  for sharing the video of this event. I shared it with our Brothers but unfortunately it was too big to put permanently on our web!
