ARTHUR LEE PINE


 
Arthur Pine arrived at Fort Campbell, KY in 1967 and was assigned to Headquarters Platoon. He went with A Company to Vietnam, December 1967. Arthur is no longer with us.

OBITUARY

PINE, ARTHUR LEE - Aug 10, 1948-Nov 23, 2002 - West Sacramento,

James Marshall H.S 1966 On Nov. 23, 2002, our beloved friend, husband and father, Art Pine, passed after a short battle with heart failure in San Antonio, TX. Living in Eagle Pass, TX with his wife Sylvia, daughters Juanita & Kimberly and young son Arthur. He was a political figure and businessman known throughout his community and was reflected by standing room only at his memorial service.

At Marshall High Art was a popular football and track competitor. After graduation he joined the Army and served proudly with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam 1967-68. Arts sisters, Lisa Abram & Karen McCarty joined the family along with Arts oldest son Chuck and wife Jenn, in Eagle Pass to support the family. Art became a bass fisherman winning many tournaments in Texas. He will be missed by all who knew him.
