22 February 1968 - SGT Jon A. Julia earned the Purple Heart (Posthumously) for military merit and for wounds
received which resulted in their deaths from small arms gun fire wounds while on a combat operation in support of USMC retaking Hue City, in the Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam.
