FRED ZIEGENFELDER

SSG Ziegenfelder was and Infantryman assigned to A CO, 2nd Battalion, 501st Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. On May 06, 1970, SSG Ziegenfelder and 24 fellow comrades perished when Fire Support Base "Henderson", came under hostile attack.

SSGT - E5 - Army - Regular, 101st Airborne Division - West Covina, CA. His tour began on Apr 16, 1970. Casualty was on May 6, 1970 in QUANG TRI, SOUTH VIETNAM (FSB HENDERSON), HOSTILE, GROUND CASUALTY, MULTIPLE FRAGMENTATION WOUNDS. Body was recovered. Panel 11W - Line 119
